FAQ

  • How can I place an order?

    1. You can visit our Hotplate.com menu and pre-order fresh baked sweets. New menus are available throughout the month for contactless pickup/delivery on Friday or Saturday.

    2. You can request a custom order using our order forms located on the top of our website. Once we receive the form, we will be in contact with you to review the details and book your delivery date.

    3. You can also send us an email and tell us what you’re looking for.

  • How do Hotplate menus work?

Hotplate is a platform that allows us to do pop-up menus throughout the month. Customers can order sweets during these pop-ups.

Customers can also sign up for text notifications when new menus become available or for special discounts. Sign up today to be added to the list. (We won’t spam you, promise!)

  • How much notice is needed for a custom order?

The minimum amount of time we will need for your custom order is 1-2 weeks. We book out in advance, so the sooner you contact us we are more likely to have the date you want available.

  • Where do you deliver?

We offer free delivery to customers in Sherwood. There is a small delivery fee for customers in Tualatin, Tigard, King City, West Linn, Wilsonville, and Lake Oswego.

  • How long will my goodies last?

Your sweets are best enjoyed within 2-3 days of receiving them. We do not use preservatives, everything is baked from scratch. To ensure everything stays fresh, it’s best to keep your goodies in an airtight container on the counter. If you refrigerate, it may dry them out.

  • Can you match colors, characters, or company logos?

We always try to match the colors you are hoping for, but small variations may occur.

We will not do copyrighted images, but will work with you to make something within the theme you want.

We offer cookies with company logos, handcrafted and specially made just for you.

  • Will you post pictures on social media?

We reserve the right to take photos of all of our sweet creations and post them to our website, Instagram, and Facebook. We will try to post photos on social media after customer events have happened.

  • Do you have a location?

All of our sweets are baked out of our home bakery under Oregon’s Cottage Bakery Law, along with Oregon Food Handlers rules. We follow all of the restrictions and rules to keep our kitchen in compliance and use best practices to keep our food and customers safe.

  • Do you offer dairy free or vegan options?

We are happy to offer some dairy-free and vegan options. Let us know what you are looking for.
